The car
We've broken the 200,000 mile barrier!

This is my 1987 FWD Corolla GT. It's in amazingly good condition for it's age and mileage (200,260 at the last site update) and is completely standard apart from the ICE and a couple of minor mods.
The mods are to the induction system in the form of a free flow induction filter and the front brakes in the form of Black Diamond drilled and vented discs (supplied by Fensport).

ICE
Head unit Pioneer 4x22WRMS radio/cassette/6 CD changer.
Speakers Two Kenwood 4" front, two Kenwood 6"x9" rear, two Kenwood 10" subs in boot.
Amp Alpine V12 T300 driving the two subs.
Other info The bass box in which the subs are mounted is an Alpine self assembly item constructed with MDF. This is bolted to a custom MDF hinged boot floor for ease of access to the spare wheel and whatever other stuff I can cram under there.
The parcel shelf is custom made in MDF with the two speakers wired into a plug for ease of removal from the car.
Only room in the boot for a couple of Mars bars, which turn to mush when you turn the bass up anyway. Custom MDF shelf Alpine bass box containing two Kenwood 10" subs Kenwood 6x9 Kenwood 6x9
More gratuitous pictures of the beast....

Hey look! It's a clever plug for South Wales Computer Ads.

A spider's eye view of the mighty Corolla.
